Review 和 Submit Your Edits

After you are finished editing your pages, it’s time to conduct a final page review. Going through the review process will help make sure that your edits are approved 和 published to the PCC site.

Step 1: Preview Your Page

  1. Click Save 和 Exit once your final edit is complete.
  2. 从 Page Actions Toolbar, click Preview.
  3. This will allow you to view the page as it will be appear live.
  4. 从 Preview, review your page to make sure that everything is being displayed correctly 和 adheres to the 设计风格指南 和 写作风格指南.

  5. If you notice any mistakes, return to the Edit View 和 use the WYSIWYG 编辑器 to 修复错误. If there are no mistakes, move to Step 2 of the review process.

The 可访问性 Check is somewhat more complicated than the rest. Use our 可访问性 Check tutorial to learn more about using this feature of the page check.

The 页面检查 runs through your page 和 identifies any spelling, link or accessibility 错误.

  1. 从 Page Actions Toolbar,  click the More Actions menu (•••) 和 then select 页面检查 从下拉菜单中.
    • Note: the page must be checked-out for the 页面检查 option to be available
  2. The 页面检查 modal will appear where your can choose which checks to run.
  3. Click the "Run All Button". This will run all page checks (Links, Spelling, 和 可访问性同时).
  4. After running each check, the item is shown in red if there were 错误, warnings, or other issues in the results. The results can be viewed by clicking Show Results 在按钮下面. The item is shown in green 和 will indicate "No 错误 are found."
  5. Click the blue "done" button when finished reviewing the results.
  6. If there were 错误, return to the Edit View 和 fix in the 错误 using the WYSIWYG 编辑器. 
  7. If there were no 错误, you are done with the 页面检查.

Step 3: Submit for Approval

After previewing your page 和 completing the 页面检查, you are now ready to submit the page for approval for publish.

  1. 从 Page Actions Toolbar，单击提交.
  2. The Submit for Approval Modal will appear.
  3. Write a message with any necessary directions 和 click Submit.
  4. Your message will be sent to your assigned approver.
  5. Your assigned approver will then review the page 和 either submit for approval or return the page to you to make additional edits.

  6. While you are waiting for approval, you can continue to follow the status of your 从你的编辑 工作流的屏幕.
